Steelwood Golf World Class Course

Nestled against a pristine lake just outside Mobile, Steelwood was designed by 1976 U.S. Open champion Jerry Pate. Despite the flat topography of the region, Pate created numerous elevation changes and fairway undulations to challenge players. The course opens with several holes along Steelwood Lake and then heads into a more heavily wooded area before returning to the lakeside to close an 18-hole golf course designed by former U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate.
